Win tickets to Micron’s We Stand Together Fundraiser at Versions, Manchester
Legendary Manchester club night, Micron, returns to their hometown for the first time since their tenth birthday celebrations back in November last year. And, if that wasn’t enough, they’re heading back to where it all began – Joshua Brooks (renamed Versions) – the venue where they held their monthly parties for the first six years.
Like everyone, the team at Micron is devastated by the attacks on the city which has given them so much fun over the past 11 years, and wanted to do something to help. So, they came up with Micron’s We Stand Together Fundraiser. It’s Micron’s way of doing something useful.
DJ Josh Wink feels the same way, too, and has very kindly offered to significantly reduce his fee for our upcoming event so that they can run it as a fundraiser for the victims of such a great tragedy, with proceeds going to the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund.
And now, Manchester legend Jon Dasilva has also agreed to join the party.
So that’s even more reason to join Micron on July 21, 2017 for a massive summer shindig, all in aid of a fantastic cause. Promoters, Skiddle, have also very kindly offered to donate 100 per cent of their booking fees to the cause.
Philadelphia-born acid house hero Josh Wink is in the driving seat this time, continuing Micron’s recent policy that all their headliners perform minimum 3 hours sets – Carl Craig, Âme, Magda, Derrick Carter and Michael Mayer have all done so in recent months.
About the venue
Under its previous name, Joshua Brooks won a series of awards including Manchester Evening News’ ‘Best Venue’ as well as DJ Mag’s ‘Best Small Club’. As Versions, the venue has only got bigger and better, increasing capacity and installing a brand-new Void sound system.
So, if you fancy a great night out – and raising cash for something incredibly worthwhile – then why not enter our competition?
