I am delighted to announce that Northern Soul will be a media partner for 2018’s Prolific North Live.

Building on the enormous success of its second year, the media, marketing and creative industries expo will be returning for double the fun, with a two-day exhibition at Manchester’s EventCity on February 28 and March 1, 2018. Showcasing the latest innovation in digital, broadcasting, PR, web, publishing, tech, marketing and advertising from across the North of England, it will be an unmissable beginning to 2018.

The expo will feature leading exponents of digital innovation, cutting edge marketing, branding and experiential agencies, content and engagement specialists, advertising and PR firms, leading broadcasters, TV and film production companies, printers, media suppliers and some of the best business brains from across the UK.

ProlificNorthLive Partner LogoAs well as hundreds of exhibitors offering invaluable insight into their businesses, the exhibition will also feature venture funding sessions, business speed dating, tech innovation demonstrations, creative workshops, collaboration areas, conference sessions and seminars designed to motivate and inspire. In addition, there will be feature areas dedicated to freelancers and marketing and communications professionals. The event will be free to attend, and visitors will be able to book their places on seminars once the speakers have been announced.

More than 2,200 people attended the second expo in February 2017 including Northern Soul (we were the exhibitor with a heap of Vimto lollies and other Northern-made sweets). In 2018, it’s expected that the expo will attract up to 4,000 attendees, who will be drawn from in-house marketing and comms functions to companies and agencies spanning Prolific North’s readership, through to professionals seeking to engage with the fast-growing creative and media sectors of the North.
