This has been an angry week. Among other rage-inducing news items, I saw a Twitter thread about the English Literature degree at Sheffield Hallam University being ‘suspended’ because the Government will no longer fund degrees where 60 per cent of students don’t end up in ‘highly skilled’ jobs within six months of graduation.
