I am getting in touch about my debut novel, The Rewilding of Molly McFlynn, which I'm happy to say is doing well, especially here in the North of England. It's a novel written for young adults but is finding its tribe amongst feminists of all ages, especially those who dare to be different. 

Rooted in rural Northumberland, and set between to Covid pandemic of 2020 and the 1649 Newcastle Witch Trials, this is a tale of true friendship, reinvention and our connection to nature.

This is my first published novel, having completed the MA in Creative Writing at Newcastle University, after running my own business as The Woolly Pedlar, upcycler of waste wool knitwear and previous to that, as a teacher of pupils with severe learning difficulties. 

I have written a few freelance pieces before, for Campervan Magazine and Heritage Tractor Magazine and write regularly on my Substack which will give you a flavour of my writing.  

I would love to either write something for you, for Northern Soul, or have you interview me with a view to a feature.  

I've been booked for Alnwick Story Fest to speak on 18th February, and will be leading the YA book group at Drake Bookshop in Stockton on Tees on 27th Jan. 

I have attached the Advance information sheet from my publisher, The Book Guild, which gives the synopsis, a short bio and shows the cover.
