I have Zoom fatigue. While the COVID-19 crisis has ensured that platforms like Zoom, Skype and WhatsApp are essential parts of our ‘new normal’, the idea of online drinks makes me lethargic. And while I am grateful to be able to communicate with loved ones, I only have to overhear housemate’s Zoom quizzes and I want to curl up, cat-like, under my duvet. Our digital social lives are exhausting and I feel frustrated by screen glitches and faces freezing mid-sentence.
