Image Gallery: New Light Prize Exhibition, The Biscuit Factory, Newcastle
The roadmap out of lockdown is well under way in the UK with galleries beginning to reopen their doors to the public. After 12 months spent confined to our own homes, it’s safe to say that many of us are looking for something to sate our appetite for getting back out into the world, albeit in a safe and secure way.
If you’re an art lover, or even just after something new and different to do, then the New Light Prize exhibition is right up your street. Showcasing at The Biscuit Factory in Newcastle from June 4, 2021, the exhibition is a real feast for the eyes. Here is a little taster of what you can expect from this vibrant exhibition.
Established in 2010, New Light celebrates and promotes Northern art, supporting both well-known and emerging artists by offering some of the region’s best awards and opportunities with the biennial New Light Prize Exhibition, which is fast-becoming one of the UK’s largest and most talked about open exhibitions.
