Win an Embellish With Relish cookbook gift bag prize worth £50.
Embellish With Relish is a cookbook from the heart and the home using kitchen staples crafted by Hawkshead Relish. It features a variety of dishes that draw on familiar and exciting flavours from around the world to liven up mealtimes at the family table. The book brings together simple but satisfying meals packed full of flavour, including family favourites, tried and tested classics, inventive creations and a selection of contemporary dishes with a twist so there’s something for everyone.
With stunning food photography and more than 50 individual recipes, Embellish With Relish reveals a glimpse into the inner workings of Hawkshead Relish and celebrates the people behind this hugely successful family-run business based in the heart of the English Lake District.
Maria Whitehead and husband Mark established their venture in 1999 to create condiments for their small village café. In 2001, foot and mouth struck. Despite this, they began to grow their business. Mark’s uncanny knack to combine flavours and transform great local ingredients stood them in good stead as they began to create an ever-growing range of pickles, preserves, ketchups, jams and sauces for farm shops and markets up and down the country. Today they export to 12 countries across the globe and have received countless accolades for the quality of their products, all handmade in the Lake District.
