WIN A PAIR OF TICKETS TO SEE HE HAD HAIRY HANDS AT THE LOWRY
The première of He Had Hairy Hands wowed Salford audiences in The Lowry’s Studio last year and saw the Manchester-based company, Kill The Beast, scoop the 2014 Manchester Theatre Award for Best Studio Production. This May the comedy quintet bring the show back for an in-demand encore in The Lowry’s larger 450-seat Quays Theatre.
He Had Hairy Hands is a 70s detective werewolf mystery – An American Werewolf In London meets Twin Peaks – influenced by classic Hammer Horror, The Wicker Man, Scooby Doo and The League of Gentlemen. Visually arresting, high-energy and hilariously blood-thirsty, He Had Hairy Hands is filled with hard-boiled allusions, sinister locals and lots of hats.
The year is 1974, the sleepy town is Hemlock-Under-Lye, and when werewolf attacks threaten to ruin teatime, there’s only one person you can call…
