Win tickets to the sold out Cottonopolis first birthday party with Mr. Scruff
Manchester’s Cottonopolis is celebrating its first birthday in style, with complimentary drinks and canapés as well as Manchester institution, festival staple and beat ninja Mr. Scruff providing an inevitably awesome soundtrack.
The past 12 months have been a helluva journey for Cottonopolis and this party is a huge thank you to one and all. With Mr. Scruff hitting the decks and top notch food and drinks flying about, it promises to be a night to remember.
Since his first vinyl excursion, Mr. Scruff has recorded for more than 25 labels including Warp, Sirkus, Disorient, Blood & Fire, Cup Of Tea and, of course, Ninja Tune. He has remixed Nightmares On Wax and Bim Sherman and refused to remix Nigel Kennedy. He’s worked with Mark Rae and Grand Central. And he has DJed all over the shop, turning down more gigs than he takes on. If they won’t let him have a long spot, he doesn’t bother….and this gig is no different.
