Exhibition: International Women’s Day Textile Art Exhibition, MCR Sew Social
MCR Sew Social is hosting an upcoming online exhibition for women artists and textile makers based in Greater Manchester in celebration of International Women’s Day.
The exhibition will launch online on March 8, 2022 with an opening night Zoom event from 7pm.
MCR Sew Social was established in 2018 and is organised by textile artists Rowan Bridgwood and Louisa Hammond. A monthly gathering of textile and fibre artists who meet in Greater Manchester, MCR Sew Social’s ambition is to create a community of makers, bringing people together to create socially and enhance a sense of wellbeing.
This event has been supported with a grant from Manchester City Council.
