We love these guys.

One of the best – and most joyous – acts at the Ramsbottom Festival a couple of months ago, Smoove & Turrell are a North East gem. We loved our chat with them backstage in Rammy so much that we’ve produced the entire unedited version for your entertainment. Have a wee watch and find out what this amazing band think of ham and pease pudding sandwiches, Newcastle Brown Ale and their new album, named after one of the best pubs in the world, the Crown Posada on Newcastle’s Quayside. Known in the North West for their regular appearances at The Craig Charles Funk & Soul Club at Manchester’s Band on the Wall, this is a band you need to listen to.
