Win tickets and meet the cast of Stand by Me: The Story of Ben E King and The Drifters
WIN A PAIR OF TICKETS TO SEE STAND BY ME…THE STORY OF BEN E KING AND THE DRIFTERS – AND MEET THE CAST OF THE SHOW
Following in the footsteps of the likes of The Jersey Boys and Motown The Musical, Stand By Me… The Story of Ben E King and The Drifters is coming to theatres across the UK. Northern Soul is offering the chance to win a pair of tickets and a meet and greet with the cast of the show, at a theatre of your choice.
Stand By Me is the phenomenal musical history of a group which helped to define Atlantic Records, inspired early rock ‘n’ roll and was a forerunner to both the black music movement in 1950s America and even early Motown.
Stand By Me… The Story of Ben E King and The Drifters brings a remarkable and unique tribute to the icons, challenges, controversy and conflicts, as well as – of course – the vast succession of more than 50 hits over the past six decades. The well-loved songs will transport you straight to Broadway, the heady days of disco, the Northern Soul scene and much more.
This fast-moving show features some of the group’s most well-known hits including Under The Boardwalk, Save The Last Dance For Me, Saturday Night At The Movies, Up On The Roof, Can I Take You Home Little Girl, Love Games, There Goes My Baby, Dance With Me, Sweets For My Sweet, There Goes My First Love, When My Little Girl Is Smiling, On Broadway, Money Honey, Every night’s A Saturday Night With You, Kissin In The Back Row, Come On Over To My Place, Down On The Beach, More Than A Number In My Little Red Book, Hello Happiness, Like Sister & Brother and many more…
