In a new series called Northern Soul Outdoors, Mike Dutson, the man behind the YouTube vlog Muddy Boots, puts on his walking shoes and takes us on a tour of brilliant hikes across the North of England. This week, Mike headed to Malham, North Yorkshire.
Mike says: “We set off on a Saturday morning and drove over to Malham via Settle. We took the road that dropped us down into the village from above Malham Tarn. As we approached the village we were taken aback by how busy it was – completely unexpected for a Saturday. We put our boots on, arranged our rucksacks and locked the car to set off walking back into the centre of the village so we could start on the small bridge over Malham Beck.”
