WIN TWO FREE TICKETS TO A FILM OF YOUR CHOICE* AT CORNERHOUSE

If you love film, then we have a special treat in store for you. Northern Soul is offering one lucky reader the chance to win a pair of tickets to a film screening of their choice* at Manchester’s Cornerhouse.

On average, Cornerhouse brings you 30 film titles shown across its three screens every month. The film programme offers the best in independent cinema alongside must-see new releases like 12 Years A SlaveThe Two Faces of January and Boyhood. Look out for regular seasons and festivals like last month’s POUTfest which presented new queer cinema and fantastic events including director Q&As and live theatre broadcasts. Cornerhouse even has its own Artist Film strand, with new film Art Party by Bob and Roberta Smith. There are also three galleries, a café and a bookshop to enjoy before or after a screening.

In Spring 2015 Cornerhouse will become HOME, a new dynamic and vibrant producing arts organisation offering film, theatre, art, books and more, located in a purpose built venue at First Street. A site-specific interim theatre programme is already up and running with a promenade performance of Romeo & Juliet next in the pipeline.

To be in with a chance of winning the film tickets, simply sign up to the Northern Soul newsletter (details of how to do this are on the right hand side of this web page) and answer this question: who plays the male lead in HOME’s production of Romeo & Juliet? Look for clues here.
