Welcome to the Circus: Manchester Pride 2018
The Manchester Pride Parade is one of The Big Weekend‘s most highly anticipated events – not to mention the highlight of the August Bank Holiday – where supporters turn up in droves to celebrate and support the city’s LGBT+ community. This year’s theme was The Circus of Acceptance and included stilt walkers, uni cyclists, tumblers, jugglers, friendly clowns (there wasn’t a Pennywise in sight) and, of course, lots of colour, glitter and fun.
Northern Soul photographer Drew Wilby rolled up to the circus and took some brilliant images of the event including snaps from An Afternoon with the Family Gorgeous and Friends at The Manchester Museum.
